Medtronic 5388 dual chamber pacemaker

The Medtronic 5388 is a battery-powered, dual-chamber temporary external (or transvenous) pacemaker used to manage severe bradyarrhythmias, heart blocks, and other temporary cardiac rhythm abnormalities. Its dual-chamber capability (pacing both the Atrium and the Ventricle) allows for synchronized heart pacing, which is often hemodynamically superior to single-chamber pacing.
